Human Resources Manager  

Since 1964, Yoder & Frey have been conducting auctions of industrial plant, construction equipment and agricultural machinery across the US. In 2017 they became part of the leading global auction company Euro Auctions.

Yoder and Frey are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to provide support to the existing collaborative Human Resources Department across our 3 sites in the US.

Reporting to the Group HR Manager the successful candidate will be expected to have a clear understanding of business objectives and be able to devise and implement policies which select, develop and retain the right staff needed to meet these objectives.

The Job

• Absence Management.
• Recruitment and Selection.
• Employee Onboarding.
• Obtaining Work Authorizations.
• Health Insurance documentation e.g., 401k, vision, dental etc.
• Obtaining new starter information e.g., payment details, next of kin.
• Employee Relations Management.
• Assist and oversee Learning and Development.
• Performance Management
• Disciplinary and Grievance.

 

The Person

This is an HR role which will provide a unique opportunity to gain experience in a department whose objectives span the entire global operation. The ideal candidate must be able to apply their skills and experience to an extremely busy, fast-paced environment.

The Requirements

• Ideally a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a fast-paced HR role.
• Highly commercial, organized, and adaptable with the ability to manage own workload.
• Good level of data entry with proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point
• Motivated and deadline driven with keen attention to detail.
• Flexibility and willingness to work extra hours during busy auction periods.
• Reliable with desire to exceed expectations.
