Yoder & Frey – New HQ and Auction Site in Findlay heralds US expansion and global reach

The next step in the development of one of the longest standing auctioneers of heavy construction and agricultural equipment in the USA Thursday April 04, 2019: Yoder & Frey, leading auctioneers of heavy construction and agricultural equipment in the USA and the founders of the now famous Kissimmee Winter Auction, announces the creation of its new HQ and flag-ship sale site in Findlay, Ohio.

Since 1964, Yoder & Frey Auctioneers have been serving the needs of heavy construction equipment buyers and sellers in the USA, specializing in the sale of used heavy construction equipment, trucks and trailers from its corporate Office located in Holland, Ohio.

Now due to market demand within the USA, and global expansion following its merger with Europe’s leading auctioneers, Euro Auctions, Yoder & Frey have expanded, taking the 20-acre site in Findlay, Ohio, once the home of Air Products, just off the I-75.

The new site consolidates the existing Headquarters in Holland, Ohio, and the current Yoder& Frey auction site in Ashland, Ohio.  The new Yoder & Frey site is bigger, offers more room for expansion, will offer better facilities to staff and customers, has ample secure parking and will provide offices and workshop facilities where Yoder & Frey can better serve its customer base.

Just of the I-75, at exit 168, the site is highly accessible, providing great transport links from the north, down into Florida and the Gulf basin.  It is also located just 3 miles from the CSX Intermodal Northwest Ohio terminal, one of the main East/West coast rail links which will also better serve its clients

The new workshop infrastructure will enable Yoder & Frey to provide more services to its customers, including: jet washing, shot blasting, painting, as well as mechanical repairs.

The offices are in the process of being remodelled to better suit the needs of the business, which will be completed in the coming weeks, with the aim to be fully operational for the inaugural sale on the new site on 6th June, with Yoder & Frey planning to hold between four to six sales per year on the new premises.

Peter Clarke, founder and CEO of Yoder & Frey comments, “Since the merger with Euro Auctions in 2017, Yoder & Frey have been exposed to an expanding global market, and whilst our home market is very important to us, we have found greater interest in all sales from across the planet. This new interest means we are now getting more enquires from consignors and needed extra space. In addition, offering sellers pre-sale packages, getting their equipment ready for sale is popular as this adds value to the equipment and increases the hammer value. With the new workshops on site we can better offer this service.”

The new address and contact details are as follows:

Yoder & Frey - 2384 Grant Road, North Baltimore, Ohio 45872

T:  001 419.865.3990          E: [email protected]         W: www.yoderandfrey.com

The existing yard in Ashland will still be part of the Yoder & Frey and Euro Auctions group, and will become the home of Barford, the UK based construction machinery and agricultural equipment manufacturer that can trace its roots back to 1840.
