Nick Gray joins the team as Florida Account Manager
Another new joiner for fast recruiting Yoder & Frey is Nick Gray who joins the team to concentrate on the state of Florida as well as other projects across the US. With his career to date in the rental market, and a lifetime around plant and machinery, Nick hits the deck running ahead of the 2022 Kissimmee Winter Sale.
Nick joins Yoder & Frey with a broad background in the industry with over 15 years' experience in the equipment rental market. Starting his career as an Outside Sales Representative with United Rentals, Nick was successful in establishing good working relationships with customers and developing new account growth across the region. He then moved to Neff Rental as a Branch Manager, and when United acquired Neff Rental, Nick was promoted to Area General Manager in the Florida area.
With four in the Area General Manager role for United Rentals, Nick was responsible for a team of 30+ employees. With a management style embracing open communication and empowering staff to make decisions, he developed a number of employee-based initiatives encouraging leadership resulting in new roles and staff promotions. During his time with the company, Nick was responsible for driving the size of the fleet from 25m to 35m in three years, with over $15m in revenue.
What attracted Nick to Yoder & Frey?
"I was seeking a new challenge after 15 years in the rental market and the advertised Yoder & Frey vacancy for an Account Manager got my attention. Outside work and away from equipment and machinery, what does Nicholas do to relax? Nicholas is married and a committed family man with two sons aged 7 and 10 years, who keep him on his toes. His spare time is spent with the family, camping, fishing, and hunting in the great outdoors, and is accomplished in butchering the game he brings home, making sausages and smoking many of the products he makes.
